ACG Dangaladima Visits Kebbi Customs Command, Seeks Synergy with Traditional Rulers, Stakeholders
The Zonal Coordinator Zone B, Assistant Comptroller General of Customs (ACG) Sambo Dangaladima has paid an official visit to the Kebbi Area Command of the service.
This is part of the ACG’s continuous tour of the Zone which took place on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Kebbi Area Command, Mohammed Tajuddeen Salisu made this known in a statement made available to Thelensng.
While addressing Officers and men during parade, ACG Dangaladima commended the efforts of the Customs Area Controller and his officers on the stride they have achieved so far on the area of its core mandate.
He emphasised the need to help in curbing security challenges facing Kebbi, stressing that the Customs leadership believes in the Command.
Speaking further, he explained that a secured Kebbi might not be achieved without strengthening the relationship between the Command, sister agencies, stakeholders, and traditional rulers.
Subsequently, he held a closed door meeting with stakeholders charging them to be compliant traders and urged them to abide by the Customs extant laws during cross border trade.
In a view to encourage work-life balance and capacity building which are some of the vision of the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, the Assistant Comptroller General of Customs commissioned five-aside football pitch and E-library/Learning Centre which fully sponsored by stakeholders.
According to the statement, this is due to the Command’s cordial relationships with the stakeholders which have been improving steadily.
During the visit, he also paid homage to the emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar to seek his blessings.
