The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has denied claims of the suspension of the Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ireti Kingibe, describing them as false and misleading.
In a statement issued by the ADC’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party noted that it has clear constitutional procedures for addressing allegations involving its members.
“Such matters are handled through established internal mechanisms, not through press statements,” the ADC said.
The party urged the public and the media to disregard reports suggesting that Senator Kingibe has been suspended.
