Football commentator and Sky Sports television pundit, Paul Merson has given his prediction for the clash between Chelsea and Manchester City on Sunday.
Merson, 55, said Chelsea are more dangerous when they play against attacking sides, however, he admitted that Pep Guardiola’s men are different because of the quality they possess.
“I know I say Chelsea are better when teams come out at them but Man City are a different kettle of fish… I’d take a draw now,” he posted on his X account, formerly Twitter on Friday (today) when asked by a football aficionado for his prediction of the game.
Defending champions, Manchester City are currently top of the Premier League standings with 27 points after 11 games and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are 10th with 15 points.
Meanwhile, both teams will lock horns at Stamford Bridge for their matchday 12 fixture at Stamford Bridge by 5:30pm on Sunday.
