A former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has urged Nigerians to criticise leaders at all levels of government, stating that they should move beyond focusing solely on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sani asserted that other leaders should also be criticised and held accountable, just like President Tinubu, advising Nigerians that it’s their right to do so.
He made these remarks on X (formerly Twitter) amid the commendations and criticisms surrounding President Tinubu on the second anniversary of his administration, marked on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
He wrote: “I have read a lot of positive and negative comments about the two years of President Tinubu. Please be courageous enough to also write about the Governor of your State, the Senator, and members of House of Reps and State Assembly members representing you.
“I know that some of them have online bullies and thugs who know your addresses, but just be bold to express your opinion. That’s your right.”
