Customs Warns Against Recruitment Scams

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has warned the general public against fraudulent emails and messages being sent to applicants of the ongoing recruitment process.

NCS urged the public not to respond to such emails, messages, or calls, explaining that the Service only communicates through its official platforms.

“For the avoidance of doubt, NCS does not request payment, personal banking details, or confidential information from applicants, nor does it engage with candidates through unofficial channels. All communications are conducted exclusively via the NCS’s authorised official platforms,” Customs stated.

It also advised applicants to disregard suspicious messages and report fraudulent activities to the appropriate authorities.

Customs can be reached for further information on its help desk line at 0201889889 or 0201889888. Email: info@custom.gov.ng.

The NCS’ official website is customs.gov.ng, while the verified social media handles are: Facebook: Nigeria Customs Service, Instagram: @official_customsng, Twitter: @CustomsNG and TikTok: @customsng.
