The Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Siminalayi Fubara has signed the state’s 2025 budget into law, which is estimated at ₦1.1 trillion.
Mr. Fubara signed the appropriation bill tagged “Budget of Inclusive Growth & Development” on Thursday. This comes days after presenting the budget proposal to some members of the State’s House of Assembly.
He expressed gratitude to the House of Assembly for their diligence.
The governor also thanked his executives for their unwavering commitment to service.
“Together, we are setting the pace for a prosperous year ahead, focusing on education, healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure.
“Let me, on this note, thank everyone and once again wish you a happy and prosperous New Year ahead as we continue the journey of making Rivers State great again,” he stated.
