Gov. Sanwo-Olu Hosts Elder Statesmen of VI, Ikoyi Residents Association, Says Stakeholder Engagement Crucial

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday hosted the chairman, executive members and elder statesmen of the Victoria Island (VI) and Ikoyi Residents Association.

Mr. Sanwo-Olu noted the significance of stakeholders engagement in achieving a prosperous state.

“Stakeholder engagement is crucial and necessary for effective governance. I had the opportunity to meet with the chairman, executive members, and elder statesmen of the Victoria Island and Ikoyi Residents Association.

“We discussed various issues such as security, water, and the environment, arriving at solutions and referring others to a special committee for deliberations,” he stated.

The governor disclosed that the development of Lagos State necessitates the support of all residents.

He also expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for their commitment to the growth of the state.
