Internet Fraud: EFCC Arrests 13 Suspects in Abuja, Recovers Laptops, Phones, Cars



The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.

EFCC disclosed that the suspects were apprehended on Thursday, April 24, 2025, by operatives from the Abuja Zonal Directorate.

The anti-corruption agency revealed that they were nabbed in a hideout in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja, following credible intelligence regarding their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.

“Items recovered from the suspects include three laptops, 17 phones and two cars,” it stated.

The Commission added that they will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.
