Internet Fraud: EFCC Arrests 7 Suspects in Abuja, Recovers Cars, Laptops, Phones 

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

EFCC disclosed that the suspects were apprehended in the Lifecamp and Kubwa areas of the FCT on Thursday, June 19, 2025, following credible intelligence linking them to fraudulent internet activities.

“Items recovered from them include eight high-end automobiles, expensive laptop computers, and mobile phones,” the Commission stated.

It added that they will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
