KLT Customs’ DC Adigun Engages Terminal Operators, Reaffirms Commitment to Efficient Operations

The newly appointed Acting Customs Area Controller of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Command, Deputy Comptroller BL Adigun, has held his first meeting with terminal operators since assuming office.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, demonstrated DC Adigun’s commitment to open communication and operational efficiency.

It provided a platform for constructive discussions on aligning operational expectations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and improving coordination between Customs and terminal operators to enhance terminal efficiency.
During the engagement, DC Adigun reiterated the Command’s commitment to integrity and accountability, stressing the importance of compliance, accurate documentation, and transparent procedures as key to protecting revenue, building trust, and fostering a business-friendly environment.

He assured stakeholders of his dedication to collaboration, practical solutions, and continuous communication to ensure smooth operations and effective partnerships.
He also assured stakeholders that such engagements would continue to ensure terminal operations remain efficient, transparent, and accountable.
The terminal operators, in turn, expressed gratitude for the initiative, highlighting the value of such engagements in strengthening working relationships.
They held in-depth discussions on various aspects of terminal operations, offering insights and suggestions for improvement. They also commended Adigun’s leadership approach and prayed for a successful tenure.
