Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has urged Mr. Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), to promote his new album, else he will cut ties with him immediately.
Thelensng reports that Odumodublvck released his latest album titled “The Machine Is Coming” on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The 16-track album features several artistes, including Vector, Victony, Ajebo Hustlers, Dan Dizzy, among others.
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Odumodublvck disclosed that he supported Obi in the general elections and even ‘dissed’ President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for him.
He wrote: “The people of Peter Obi Vs The Industry Machine. Go and ask around, I have never lost a war. Peter Obi has lost an election. There is only one winner here. Tell that man to promote my album or else, I will cut ties with him with immediate effect.
“@PeterObi I even dissed Tinubu for you. Now because of you, the people are spitting on me and my legacy. Tweet the machine is coming to rekindle and redeem our friendship, sir. Do not listen to them. Listen to your heart.”
The songwriter also revealed that he rejected the money offered to him during campaigns because he was adamant on supporting the former Anambra State Governor.
“Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen to campaign against Mr. Peter but I turned it down. Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask as I am not the one to seek favours. I sacrificed my life for this man,” he added.
