The Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah has urged the youths in the state to strive for excellence, thereby rising above the ordinary.
Mr. Mbah gave the charge when rapper and songwriter, Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, popularly known as Jeriq paid him a visit on Monday.
“Today, I received one of Enugu’s shining stars in the creative industry, Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, popularly known as Jeriq. He is a rapper and songwriter whose art we’re proud of. Our administration remains deeply committed to nurturing talent and empowering our youths.
“We’re driven by a vision to position Enugu as a hub of innovation and creativity. That is the reason we make every effort to create an environment where our young people not only dream but also thrive,” he disclosed on X (formerly Twitter).
The governor added: “We want to see them transform their creativity into impactful legacies. To all the youths of Enugu State, I urge you to rise above the ordinary and aim for excellence. Embrace your creativity, and stay innovative.”
He assured the youths in the state that his government will continue to support them in every step they take to define their future, “and contribute to the progress of our beloved state.”
