The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Balogun Olamilekan Eletu popularly known as Sam Larry for interrogation over the death of singer and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad).
Larry was alleged to have assaulted Mohbad several times before his demise.
Meanwhile, in the late hours of Thursday, September 28, 2023, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Lagos State Police Command, Ben Hundeyin disclosed that Sam Larry has been apprehended.
“Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation. #justice4Mohbad #justiceforMohbad,” he posted on his X account, formerly Twitter.
MohBad passed on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the age of 27 – and the cause of his death is still unknown, hence the Nigerian Police continues to investigate.
