The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has declared Svc. No. 57765 DSC IG Mohammed a deserter from duty, following his absence from duty without leave, permission or lawful authority.
According to the Service, Mohammed has been missing from duty since April 1, 2026.
The NCS said Mohammed is no longer authorised to represent, transact or undertake any official business on behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service.
The Service consequently advised members of the public to take note of the development and exercise due diligence in respect of any purported official engagement with Mohammed.
