Former Sports Minister Enoh Hands over to NSC Chairman, Dikko

The former Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh has handed over the mantle of the office to the new Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mr. Shehu Dikko.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu reshuffled his cabinet a week ago, scrapping the Ministry of Sports Development, with its duties reassigned to the NSC, now headed by Mr. Dikko.

Consequently, Mr. Enoh was redeployed as the Minister of State for Trade and Investment.

“As the immediate past Minister of the now defunct Ministry of Sports Development, I have officially handed over to the newly appointed Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mr Shehu Dikko,” Enoh announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.

He disclosed that he presented briefs of the various departments during the handover, noting that it captures highlights of the progress made during his 15 months in the sector as minister, amongst other valid information.

Enoh also wished Dikko success in his new role, and hoped for a better sports sector for the good of the nation.
