Members of the Ajangbadi High School Old Students’ Association (AHSOSA) on Saturday gathered on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in colourful fashion for the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and luncheon, an event that blended nostalgia, fellowship and celebration of shared heritage.
The 8th AGM and 4th Luncheon brought together old students from different generations, spanning sets as far back as 1989 to the younger alumni, underscoring the enduring bond among graduates of the school.
This year’s event, themed “Back in Time: Journey Through Decades, School Spirit and Memories”, hosted by the 1995 and 1996 sets, saw members turned out stylishly dressed in the school’s colours — blue with a touch of pink, creating a vibrant and unified atmosphere.
The red carpet segment added glamour to the event as alumni posed for photographs, setting the tone for a day described by participants as entertaining, fun-filled, thrilling and exciting.
Activities at the luncheon included interactive games, spirited participation at the 360-degree camera booth and the singing of old nursery rhymes, which instantly transported many attendees down memory lane.
Food and assorted drinks were available in abundance, adding to the relaxed and festive mood.
Music was another major highlight, with the DJ skilfully mixing old-school hits that evoked nostalgia with contemporary sounds, striking a balance that appealed to all generations present and keeping the atmosphere lively throughout the event.
Beyond the entertainment, the gathering offered members the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and classmates, in some cases meeting for the first time in many years. For others, the event led to surprising discoveries, as some alumni realised they had lived in the same environment for years without knowing they shared the same alma mater.
The AGM and luncheon also served as a platform for networking and the exchange of ideas, with members discussing future collaborations and initiatives that could further strengthen the association and support the development of Ajangbadi High School.
The highpoint of the event came when members were called out by graduating sets to take centre stage. Each set danced in grand style to cheers and applause from fellow alumni, a moment that vividly captured the spirit of unity, pride and shared history that defines AHSOSA.
