Nigerian artiste, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has advised the electorates in Edo State to protect their votes.
Davido, on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday stated that winning an election and being announced winner are entirely different.
He wrote: “They have written results in Edo north .. my Edo North Pple no gree oooo … NO GREE AT ALL!!
“Winning is one thing. Being declared a winner is another thing! …. From 7pm make una go Dey mount collation center!! #EdoDecide2024.”
The gubernatorial election in Edo State is ongoing as the residents are performing their civic rights to elect their next governor.
