Operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested thirty-six (36) suspected internet fraudsters in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to EFCC, the suspects were arrested on Monday at Gbokoniyin and Yetedo areas of Abeokuta following actionable intelligence at its disposal.
The items recovered include nine (9) exotic vehicles, fourteen (14) laptops, forty-nine (49) mobile phones and other incriminating documents.
The Commission also stated that the suspects will be charged to court after final findings.
