
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that it recorded 6,232,673 online pre-registrations for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) during week six of the exercise, which took place between September 22 and 28.
According to INEC, of the total number, 3,250,338 (52.15%) were female, 2,982,335 (47.85%) were male, and 4,230,715 were youths aged between 18 and 34.
Similarly, 1,565,824 were students, while 137,865 were Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
The Commission also disclosed that 1,004,132 Nigerians completed online and physical registration during week five of the exercise between September 22 and 26.
It highlighted the breakdown as follows: Completed online registration (537,743), physical registration (466,389), female – 555,077 (55.28%), and male – 449,055 (44.72%).
Others are youths (18-34) – 742,379, students (354,406), and PWDs (13,987).
