Integrated Indigo Bags MARCON Maritime PR Excellence Award

Integrated Indigo Limited, a leading public relations and strategic communications firm, has been honoured with the Maritime Public Relations Excellence Award by the Maritime Correspondents’ Organisation of Nigeria (MARCON), in recognition of its remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s maritime sector.

The award was formally presented to the Managing Director of Integrated Indigo Limited, Mr. Bolaji Abimbola, by executives of MARCON on Monday, December 8, 2025, at his office in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to MARCON, Integrated Indigo Limited has demonstrated exceptional competence through its communications partnership with Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise Limited. It commended the agency for playing a pivotal role in advancing visibility and deepening stakeholder engagement around Nigeria’s first fully automated deep seaport.

MARCON noted that Indigo’s work has been instrumental in shaping positive public perception of Lekki Port by effectively projecting its transformative impact on Nigeria’s maritime landscape and aligning it with the broader narrative of the nation’s blue economy.

The association praised the firm’s ability to seamlessly integrate traditional and digital public relations strategies, manage corporate reputation and communicate complex maritime operations with clarity and precision.

MARCON stated that these efforts have enhanced Lekki Port’s image as a world-class facility while reinforcing Nigeria’s position as an emerging regional maritime hub.

Speaking during the presentation, MARCON’s Vice President, Paul Ogbuokiri described the award as a recognition of the company’s outstanding professionalism, creativity, and strategic communication expertise, which clearly sets it apart within the industry.

In his remarks, Mr. Abimbola expressed appreciation to MARCON for the honour, and reaffirmed Indogo’s commitment to delivering high-impact communications that support national development and industry growth.

He further conveyed optimism about sustaining a productive relationship, noting that the recognition marks the beginning of deeper collaboration.
