The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 17 suspected internet fraudsters in the Mararaba area of Nasarawa State.
EFCC disclosed that the suspects were apprehended by operatives of its Abuja Zonal Directorate on July 17, 2025, following credible intelligence regarding their suspected involvement in internet-related crimes.
“Items recovered from them include five cars, 20 phones, and four laptops,” the Commission stated.
It added that they will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.
