Internet Fraud: EFCC Arrests 31 Suspects in Port Harcourt, Recovers Cars, Phones, Laptops

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 31 suspected internet fraudsters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

EFCC disclosed that the suspects were arrested by operatives of its Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate at different locations in the state on Wednesday.

“Their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.

“Items recovered from them include cars, smart phones, smart wristwatches, and laptop computers,” the anti-graft agency stated.

It added that they will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigation.
