Internet Fraud: EFCC Arrests 9 Suspects in Abuja, Recovers Cars, Others

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 9 suspected internet fraudsters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The Head, Media & Publicity, EFCC, Dele Oyewale disclosed this in a statement, noting that the suspects were nabbed at Sunnyville Estate, Lokogoma and Open Heaven Estate, Dawaki areas of the FCT on Tuesday.

Oyewale stated that the apprehension led to the recovery of cars, phones and other items.

“Items recovered from them include four high-end cars, laptop computers, iPads and phones,” he said.

The spokesperson added that they will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
