The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has condoled with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) over the aircraft crash in Ondo State that led to the death of its personnel on Monday, describing the incident as a moment of deep sorrow.
The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (rtd.), in a letter of condolence to the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, on Wednesday, expressed the Agency’s condolences to the Air Force leadership, officers, and the families of the fallen heroes.
Marwa described the crash as devastating, noting that the news was received with profound grief.
He praised NAF for consistently demonstrating exceptional patriotism, gallantry, and unwavering commitment to the defence and security of the nation.
Marwa stated that the loss of officers who dedicated their lives to national service was a terrible blow, not only to the Air Force but also to the entire country and the national security community.
“In this moment of deep sorrow, our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families of the fallen heroes, as well as the entire NAF family,” he said.
The NDLEA boss prayed that Almighty God would comfort their loved ones, strengthen the Nigerian Air Force, and grant the departed eternal rest.
He further assured the Air Force of the Agency’s warm regards and the solidarity of all NDLEA officers, men and women, during this difficult period.
