An X user @Sir_Dubem, has gifted Goodluck Benjamin, the son of a protester, Ogwu Benjamin, Acer Nitro GTX 1660 gaming laptop worth one million, fifty thousand naira (₦1,050,000).
Ogwu, on Thursday joined the day 1 nationwide #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest in Lagos and when interrogated by Channels Television reporter if he joined any group or decided to come out alone, he responded: “Alone, I am coming from Festac. My son at 13 is a programmer.

“I can’t even buy data for him to learn more. I can’t even pay for his tuition fee, millions of naira. At 13, he can programme games. Goodluck Benjamin is the name, my name is Ogwu Benjamin Chijioke.
“So, I will rather die on the street than die at home. I can’t sit down and watch the future of my son go to waste. I know I may not have safety again in Nigeria but my son’s future will not waste.”

Consequently, his reaction went viral on X, leading to @Sir_Dubem donating the money to purchase the gaming laptop, expected to be delivered by Alexzy Polska Technology.
