NYSC Outlines Online Registration Tips for Prospective Corpers

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has outlined registration guidelines for prospective corpers.

NYSC stated that online registration for 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream II commences from March 25 to 31, 2024.

The tips given in a series of posts on X, formerly Twitter on Monday reads in part: “NYSC Registration Portal is open, visit (nysc.org.ng) and click on the active link to register. NIN is a prerequisite for online registration.

“Click on “Fresh Registration”, If you are registering for the first time. Click on “Revalidation”, if you were deployed in previous Batches and did not report to camp.

“If you have registered previously and did not complete your Registration, click “Login Here” to continue your Registration.”

It mentioned that webcam will be used for facial capturing – and advised against thumbprint by proxy.

NYSC also disclosed that date of birth, date of graduation and course of study will be on Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate.

However, it noted that the aforementioned details cannot be corrected after Camp Registration.

NYSC added: “Apply for Correction of Name, Date of Birth, Course of Study, Class of Degree, Qualification. PCMs who are serving in the Armed Forces should indicate and upload valid documents during Online Registration.

“Married female PCMs who want marital concession are to upload marital documents during Online Registration.”
