Obi Donates ₦15m to College of Nursing Sciences in Anambra 

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, on Wednesday, stepped up his philanthropy efforts by donating ₦15 million to the College of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu in Anaocha, Anambra State, to improve teaching and enhance the institution’s facilities.

ThelensNG reports that Obi had, on Tuesday, donated ₦10 million to the College of Nursing Sciences, Oji River, Enugu State, to enhance training and upgrade the learning environment.

Announcing his latest donation on X (formerly Twitter), Obi reiterated his commitment to critical areas of development, particularly education and healthcare, which he described as the most vital foundations for building a productive, healthy, and prosperous nation.

“I visited the College of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu in Anaocha, as part of my longstanding commitment to the development of the human capital of our dear nation through support for education and healthcare,” he disclosed.

While addressing the students, Obi encouraged them to remain focused on their studies and to place education at the centre of their aspirations.

“Having supported the establishment of this institution, I have remained committed to its growth and development over the years. Today, I donated ₦15 million to further enhance their teaching and learning facilities,” he affirmed.
