Onyema Lauds Pelumi for London-Lagos Solo Drive, Offers Free London Flight Ticket
The Chairman of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema has heaped praises on Solo Driver, Pelumi Nubi for the outstanding achievement of driving from London to Lagos.
Dr. Onyema offered Nubi a free London Business Class return ticket following the feat.
The Air Peace boss gave the encomium on Monday while hosting the travel content creator at the airline’s head office in Lagos.
Onyema said: “You made us proud. At a time when the economy is down. You’ve made Nigeria proud. We are full of joy that you achieved this feat. That is why we said we should acknowledge you.
“We are really impressed with what you did. You are part of our national pride. We appreciate what you have done and we have decided to offer you a free Business Class return ticket to London.”
Similarly, Nubi thanked the Management of Air Peace for the offer and commended the airline for its recently launched London service, which has been an ‘industry disruptor’.
Recall that Nubi, a travel blogger and the curator of Oremi Travels, recently solo-drove from London to Lagos. Consequently, she is being honored for being the trailblazing woman who undertook the first solo drive from the UK to Nigeria.
