Why APC Will Win Osun Governorship Election – Shehu Sani

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has explained why the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the governorship election in Osun State.

ThelensNG reports that the election is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Sani asserted that it would take a miracle for Governor Ademola Adeleke to remain the governor of Osun State.

“Osun; with a divided opposition and the fact that almost all of the ADC members in the state are genetically and spiritually from the APC, only a miracle or magic will save the incumbent Governor,” he wrote.

Sani also pointed out that the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council for the election, Hope Uzodimma, would play a major role in the party’s victory.

“In the absence of both miracle and magic, Hope Uzodimma will undoubtedly retrieve Osun for APC,” he said.
