Why Loss of Slain Lagos NURTW Organising Secretary Is National Tragedy – Shehu Sani 

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has revealed why the death of the Organising Secretary of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Toba Ajiboye, popularly known as Toba Ijaya, is a national tragedy.

ThelensNG reports that Ajiboye died following an attack by gunmen on his vehicle in the Fadeyi area of Lagos on Sunday. Consequently, he was buried in Ketu on Tuesday.

Reacting to Ajiboye’s death, Sani said: “The murder of Comrade Toba Ajiboye of the Lagos NURTW is a national tragedy. The thousands of people who trooped to his home are a testament to the conduct of his life, service, and legacy.”

He condoled with the family of the deceased and NURTW members across the country.

“May his soul rest in peace. Amen,” he added.
