Air Peace Lagos to Port Harcourt flight P47190 was involved in a runway excursion on Sunday morning after landing at the Port Harcourt International Airport.
The airline’s management confirmed the incident in a terse statement signed by its spokesperson, Osifo-Whiskey Efe.
However, the cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
“Air Peace confirms that its Flight P47190, operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt this morning, had a runway excursion after landing safely at the Port Harcourt International Airport.
“The aircraft veered slightly off the runway without any damage. All passengers disembarked safely and calmly, and no injuries were reported”, the statement partly read.
The airline reassured the flying public of its unflinching commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all its operations.
