The presentation is part of efforts by the Force, under the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, to provide financial support to families of officers who lost their lives in the course of service.

CP Fatai sympathised with the beneficiaries, noting that although the financial support could not replace their loved ones, it was intended to provide some relief and demonstrate the Force’s commitment to the welfare of fallen officers’ families.

He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds, particularly for the welfare and education of the children and other dependants left behind.

The Commissioner also reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to facilitating the prompt processing of legitimate claims due to families of deceased personnel, assuring serving officers that their welfare and that of their families remain a priority.
