As part of his efforts to beef up security in the state, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has donated over 250 new patrol vehicles to the police.
Mr. Sanwo-Olu presented the vehicles, and other items, including essential hardware, communication devices, and protective gear to the police at the state’s 18th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security on Thursday.
“This initiative represents a significant advancement in our efforts to strengthen security operations throughout Lagos State.
“Security is vital for maintaining economic stability and community safety, and it remains a top priority for us in Lagos. We are resolute in our commitment to enhancing safety for all Lagosians,” he said.
The governor added: “We also extend our gratitude to our partners in the private sector for their unwavering support of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) in our mission to ensure safety throughout Lagos.”
