ADC Deputy Publicity Secretary Jackie Wayas Resigns from Party

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Jackie Wayas, has announced her resignation from the party.

Wayas declared her resignation in letters dated May 3, addressed to the ADC Bassang Ward in Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State and the party’s National Chairman, Senator David Mark, stating that it takes effect immediately.

“I hereby tender my resignation as a member and also the National Deputy Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress. Kindly accept my resignation and acknowledge receipt of this letter,” she said.

Wayas explained that the decision was not made lightly, but followed careful consideration of her personal convictions and future political direction.

She also expressed gratitude to the party for the opportunity to serve and contribute in her own way.
