A fatal road accident involving a Dongfeng truck and a Toyota Hiace bus on Alaro City Bridge in Epe, Lagos State, has claimed four lives and left 13 casualties.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) disclosed this in a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday, October 28, attributing the accident to overspeeding.
The agency said a tow truck had been deployed to the scene to facilitate the prompt evacuation of the affected vehicles, while its officers were on the ground managing traffic congestion resulting from the crash.
Motorists were advised to exercise caution around the area as emergency and traffic management operations continued.
