FCT Customs Organises Workshop to Deepen Officers’ Understanding of One-Stop Shop

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has held a one-day workshop aimed at enhancing officers’ capacity to effectively operate the One-Stop Shop (OSS) framework.

The training, which took place on 18 November 2025 at the Command headquarters, brought together personnel from various units to strengthen their grasp of the integrated service system.

According to the Command, the OSS model is designed to streamline processes, boost workload efficiency, and accelerate service delivery across Customs operations.

The workshop provided officers with updated knowledge on how to optimise the system for smoother inter-unit coordination and improved operational outcomes.

Speaking during the session, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Victoria C. Aliboh, described the OSS initiative as a crucial tool in promoting efficiency and transparency within the Service.

She noted that the training reflects the Nigeria Customs Service’s continued commitment to capacity building, modernisation, and aligning its procedures with global best practices.

Comptroller Aliboh further commended the participating officers for their dedication and urged them to apply the knowledge gained to improve service delivery and strengthen the Command’s overall performance.
