Gov. Sanwo-Olu Commissions Irele Tower to Boost Green Development in Lekki-Epe Corridor 

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commissioned Irele Tower at the Lagos Free Zone along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The tower was commissioned on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Speaking during the commissioning, Governor Sanwo-Olu explained that Irele Tower is an EDGE-certified green building, designed with a focus on energy and water efficiency, as well as a healthier indoor environment.

“Beyond its sustainability, the facility offers shared workspaces that reflect how people work today,” he said.

Sanwo-Olu also stated that the space is designed to support residents’ productivity, whether they are freelancers, consultants, or working remotely.

He expressed delight that development is taking shape in the Lekki-Epe corridor, adding that it is another step forward in building a more efficient and modern Lagos that works better for everyone.
