The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in Wukari, Taraba State.
According to the EFCC, the suspects were apprehended by operatives of its Makurdi Zonal Directorate on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in cybercrime.
“Items recovered from them include two cars, 12 laptops, and 46 phones,” the Commission stated.
It added that they will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.
