Kebbi Police Commissioner Presents ₦4.4m to 8 Families of Deceased Officers 

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CP Bello Sani, has presented IGP Family Welfare cheques totalling ₦4.4 million to eight families of deceased police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

CP Sani presented the cheques on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, at the Command Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.

The Public Relations Officer of the Command, CSP Nafiu Abubakar, disclosed this in a statement, describing the gesture as part of efforts to ensure the welfare of families of deceased police officers.

CSP Abubakar noted that the initiative also aims to boost the morale of serving officers in the ongoing onslaught against banditry and other heinous crimes in the state.

While presenting the cheques, CP Sani, who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration), DCP Aminu Babale, advised the beneficiaries to utilise the token optimally for the benefit of their families, including solving immediate needs and supporting academic pursuits.

He prayed for the gentle souls of the departed officers to have an eternal rest and for their immediate families and friends to have to the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Kamal Abubakar, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, commended IGP Egbetokun for his kind gesture and support for the families of the deceased officers.

Abubakar prayed for Almighty Allah to continue to bless the IGP, CP Sani, and the officers and men of the Kebbi State Police Command with good health, wealth, wisdom, and strength to lead the affairs of the Nigeria Police Force effectively.
