NDLEA Nabs 2 Ladies for Baking Drug-Laced Cakes in Kwara 

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested two (2) ladies, Khadijat Abdulraheem and Ayomide Morakinyo for producing and selling drug-laced cupcakes to students in Kwara State.

Abdulraheem, 24, a fresh graduate and Morakinyo, 20, a student of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) were nabbed on Sunday, December 29, 2024 by NDLEA at Tanke-University of Ilorin road, Oke Odo, Ilorin.

This was made known in a statement issued by the Director, Media & Advocacy of NDLEA, Mr. Femi Babafemi on Sunday.

Babafemi stated that the apprehension was made based on credible intelligence that the duo were producing and selling drug laced cupcakes to students in the community.

“When their apartment was searched, 42 pieces of drugged cakes were recovered from them,” the spokesperson said.
