The Director General (DG)/CEO of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote has disclosed that the National Identification Number (NIN) pre-enrollment software will soon be available for Nigerians.
According to NIMC, Engr. Coker-Odusote made the disclosure on Thursday when its management hosted members of the House of Representatives’ Committee on National Population and Identity led by Hon. Okunjimi John Odumayo at its corporate headquarters in Abuja.
The DG thanked the Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Committee and other members for the courtesy visit.
She stated that the commission has enrolled over 107 million Nigerians and legal residents – and reiterated the commission’s efforts to extend the NIN enrollment to wards and schools.
“The pre-enrollment software will soon be available for Nigerians,” the CEO of NIMC added.
On his part, the Chairman of the House Committee on National Population, Hon. Odumayo expressed gratitude to the DG/CEO and the NIMC management for the warm reception.
Odumayo equally lauded them for the milestones recorded by the NIMC, noting that the visit was intended to familiarise the ‘Honourable members’ with the workings of the Commission.
