Osimhen, Messi, Mbappe, 9 Others Makes Best FIFA Men’s Player of Year 2023 Nominees
Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the Best FIFA Men’s Player of the Year 2023.
Osimhen was nominated alongside former Paris Saint-Germain player, Lionel Messi and French international, Kylian Mbappe.
Argentina’s Julian Alvarez, former Inter Milan midfielder, Marcelo Brozovic who now plies his trade at Saudi Arabia for Al Nassr and Kevin De Bruyne were also nominated.
The nominees also include the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Erling Haaland, Rodri and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Others are Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice and Portuguese international, Bernardo Silva.
Similarly, ‘The Best FIFA Men’s Coach of the Year’ were also shortlisted namely; Pep Guardiola, Simeone Inzaghi and Ange Postecoglou.
Luciano Spalletti and Barcelona’s Xavi Hernandez complete the list of five managers nominated for the award.
The goalkeepers were not left out as we have the likes of Yassine Bounou, Thibaut Courtois and Ederson making the nominees for the Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year.
Manchester United shot-stopper, Andre Onana and Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen also made the goalkeeper nominees.
