President Tinubu to Visit Plateau, Console Families Affected by Attack

President Bola Tinubu has disclosed that he will visit Plateau State following the gunmen attack that claimed lives and injured many in Gari Ya Waye community, Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area, on Sunday.
President Tinubu affirmed that he will condole with families who lost loved ones while pledging stronger security and justice.
“I have postponed my trip to Iperu, Ogun State. My first duty at this moment is to stand with the people of Plateau.
“I will be in Jos to commiserate with families who have lost loved ones and to reaffirm that those who seek to spread fear will not prevail. We will continue to strengthen our security response and ensure that justice is done,” he said.
He revealed that from Plateau, he will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday and then continue with scheduled engagements in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa, focusing on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth.
“In moments of grief, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building,” he stated, emphasising that work must go on and Nigeria comes first.
