A former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Mr. Shehu Sani, has lauded the Nigerian education sector, stating that it needs more support to enhance its development.
Mr. Sani, in a post on his X handle on Thursday commended Nigerian tertiary institutions for producing medical professionals who are qualified to practice abroad.
He wrote: “If the badly rated Nigerian education system can still produce the best doctors, pharmacists and nurses that have been found to be attractive to the British, American, Canadian and Middle Eastern countries, then we have something to be proud of that only needs improvement.”
The human rights activist, under the All Progressive Congress (APC) served as Senator for Kaduna Central from 2015 to 2019 upon defeating Muktar Aruwa in the election.
