Internet Fraud: EFCC Arrests 15 Suspects in Lagos, Recovers Phones, Laptops, Cars



The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos.

According to EFCC, the suspects were apprehended on Friday, April 25, 2025, by operatives from the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2.

The anti-corruption agency revealed that they were nabbed during a sting operation at Maple and Jand Court, Royal Pine Estate, Orchid Road, Lekki, Lagos, following credible intelligence regarding their suspected involvement in fraudulent internet-related activities.

“Items recovered from them at the point of arrest include mobile phones, laptop computers, and cars.

“The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” it stated.
