Internet Fraud: EFCC Arrests 74 Suspects in Abuja, Recovers Phones, Firearm, Motorcycles 

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 74 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

EFCC disclosed that the suspects were apprehended by its operatives at Joyous Hotel, Nyanya, in the FCT on Monday, June 30, 2025, following actionable intelligence linking them to internet-related offences.

“Items recovered from them include 86 phones, one rifle pistol and three motorcycles,” the Commission stated.

It added that they will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
