No Payment Required for Drug Integrity Test by Interior Ministry Recruitment Applicants – NDLEA

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced that applicants undergoing recruitment into four agencies under the Ministry of Interior will not be required to pay for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test (DIT).

The affected agencies are the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The Agency disclosed that the Ministry of Interior had already made bulk payment to cover the drug testing of its new intakes, warning applicants and personnel against making payments to NDLEA officials, testing centres or through any other payment channel for the exercise.

The clarification was contained in a statement issued by the Director of Media and Advocacy of NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, on Friday, October 30, 2026.

According to the statement, arrangements have been concluded for the conduct of the mandatory test as part of the recruitment process.

It further directed candidates to access the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test portal through the designated link or access point to be provided on their respective institutional portals.

Through the platform, applicants are expected to complete the necessary registration and documentation before proceeding with the testing process.

The Agency appreciated the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and efficient implementation of the exercise.
