EFCC Nabs 4 Chinese, 101 Nigerians for Suspected Internet Fraud in Abuja

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 4 Chinese and 101 Nigerians suspected internet fraudsters in a business apartment in the Guru axis of Abuja.

EFCC disclosed that they were nabbed on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

“The suspects, comprising 67 males (including four Chinese) and 38 females were allegedly involved in a hotel review job scam targeting victims and hotels in Europe and other parts of the world,” the anti-graft agency stated.

It also said that the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigations.
