Customs, FRSC Deepen Synergy for Enhanced Service Delivery in Oyo

The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and the Oyo State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have strengthened their partnership to enhance service delivery in the state.
The synergy was reinforced when the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde Sunday Dahunsi, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the operational headquarters of the Oyo/Osun Area Command of the NCS on Tuesday.

Commander Dahunsi and his delegation were received by the Acting Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller Wale Moses Adewole, and members of the Command’s management team.
Speaking during the engagement, Dahunsi expressed appreciation for the warm reception, describing it as a clear demonstration of the enduring and productive relationship between both agencies.

He commended the NCS for its pivotal role in safeguarding the nation’s borders against the influx of prohibited items that could pose risks to public health and safety, while also facilitating legitimate trade.
He also assured the Command of the FRSC’s continued support through enhanced collaboration, improved operational synergy, and joint capacity-building initiatives aimed at boosting service delivery.
In his response, DC Adewole expressed gratitude to the Sector Commander and his team for the visit.
He acknowledged the critical role of the FRSC in ensuring road safety and protecting lives from road accidents across the nation.
The Acting CAC further emphasised the importance of sustained cooperation between both agencies in achieving their shared mandate of national security and public safety.

The visit highlights the commitment of both agencies to fostering stronger institutional partnerships in the interest of national development and efficient service delivery.
