‘I Will Not Run Away,’ President Tinubu Pledges Steadfast Leadership Amid Challenges
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that he will give his all to tackle the challenges facing the country head-on, declaring that he will not run away from the task.
President Tinubu gave the assurance while addressing leaders and coordinators of his Renewed Hope Ambassadors at the State House in Abuja on Thursday.
“We will not submit to noise, rascality, or disobedience to lawful court orders. We must uphold democracy, respect the judiciary whether it favours us or not, and remain faithful to the principles that hold our nation together,” he said.
Tinubu stated that there is no route to national greatness except by building one country with a common vision and a shared future of progress and prosperity for all Nigerians.
“That is what Renewed Hope is about,” he noted, stressing that nothing can scare him off, as he has walked the path before.
“And if I must walk it again and again for our country, I will. There is no better place than Nigeria, and no one will build it for us except ourselves. I have listened. I know the journey is not easy. But I give you my word: I will not run away from this task. I will not give up,” the President assured.
He urged leaders to coordinate from the ward level, act as one family, remain focused on the promises made by his administration to Nigerians, and stand firm.
